LEVEL NON ZERO LABEL NIGHT with CHRIS WOOD & FRANK LEICHER [Live Act] ++ Afterhour @ Trendy Danceclub ++ ++ Start: 04 AM | Dr. Hans-Kapfingerstr. 28 ++ .artists: Chris Wood [Level Non Zero | Below | Frankfurt] - visit Chris Wood @ myspace Deeply influenced by the Frankfurt sound of the early 90s, Chris Wood’s interaction with electronic music quickly developed from passion to profession. It is via his work at Delirium Frankfurt Record Store and the “Delirium House Division” that had developed from it, that Chris suddenly became one of the sought-after Frankfurt Locals. Almost no club in the Rhein-Main-Area has since gone without rocking on his combination of Deephouse, Techouse and Minimal Techno. His passionate style is what gets the crowd hooked over and over again: his add-in of effects and loops enriches each and every mix. Across his long time residency at Monza he became well known beyond Frankfurt borders and has played his sets at national and international clubs and events such as Penelopé and Space (Ibiza), Robert Johnson (Offenbach), Kristal (Rumania), Coccon Club (Frankfurt), Harry Klein (Munich), Rave on Snow (Austria) a.o.. After completing his studies as audio engineer, Chris Wood got to know the dj and producer, Pascal FEOS, and started working for his network, GEM/Elektrolux. Since Pascal FEOS’ founded the label “Level Non Zero” in 2003, Chris is managing the label, and together they regularly worke in the studio. A remix for Tony Senghore appeared on Danza Electronica already in 2003, followed by further productions on the label Level Non Zero in 2004 and 2005. In addition, he coproduced 2 titles for Aural Float’s Album “Beautiful Someday”, released on Elektrolux. Together with well-known Frankfurt DJ, Toni Rios, Chris Wood released a mix-CD for the Sao Paolo (Brazil) based club, Chakras. His first EP “The Guns Are Loaded” on Level Non Zero created a furor at the beginning of 2007 and flew directly into the DJ community’s record bags, just like his remix of the classic Strobe Light Network track “Cold” did just a little later. In 2007 Chris Wood forms a coalition with Frank Leicher and Nedzad Berovic. At this point "Fresh Fried" was born. Until now the three friends have released two EPs under this name on Level Non Zero and a double vinyl called: "Fresh Fried - The Menu". A Remix EP called "The Dessert" with a thrilling Matt Star Remix is although availabel on LNZ. With Frank Leicher, Chris released a track called „Geisha“ in 2008. The next record of this duo will be in the beginning of 2009: „Two Of Three EP“. Also there will be a release on „Below“ together with Meat from Freebase Frankfurt and a fantastic Einzelkind Rmx. At the moment Chris Wood is working together on future projects with Meat and with Domenico D..Agnelli from Partysan München. Frank Leicher [Level Non Zero | Einmaleins | Frankfurt] - visit Frank Leicher @ myspace Frank Leicher, born in Frankfurt, started buying his first records in the mid 90ies and got interested in electronic music, especially techno and house. Affected by the Frankfurt scene and the surrounding, Frank initially played on smaller parties just for fun to apply himself to this passion more and more in the course of time. In addition to playing vinyl on the turntables, Frank is also very active as producer and successful as Solo artist among projects like Berovic & Leicher (with Nedzad Berovic), Dreist (with Matt Star) and Fresh Friend (with Chris Wood). Cocoon Club Frankfurt, Monza FFM, Harry Klein, U60311, MTW and Kubic Barcelona are just a few stops of his present dj and live activities. In 2009 a lot should be expected from this man - so keep your eyes and ears open. Matthew [Record Artists | Passau] Matthew kann man wohl als Shootingstar der niederbayrischen Elektroszene bezeichnen. Seit mehr als 12 Jahren bringt er die Plattenteller zum Glühen und begeistert an den Wochenenden hunderte von Gleichgesinnten. Mitte der 90iger entwickelte er sein Musikspektrum, dank Einflüssen von Jeff Mills oder Laurent Garnier weiter und konnte sich durch akribisches Arbeiten aus dem elektronischen Dschungel hervorheben. Aber nicht nur in Deutschland macht er auf sich aufmerksam, auch auf Gigs in Italien, Dänemark, Spanien und Österreich sorgt er mächtig für Furore. Sein musikalisches Spektrum reicht von housigen Beats bis hin zu dreckigen Elektro, Minimal oder Techno. Matthew bietet musikalische Vielfalt und die Intuition für das was Freunde elektronischer Tanzmusik zum Turnen bringt. Tobi S. [Electric Gigolos | Deggendorf] Tobi S. (bürgerl. Name: Tobias Schreiner) erblickte im August 1984 das Licht der Welt. Musik war schon im Kindesalter seine Leidenschaft, die sich damals bunt gemischt von Rock, Pop bis HipHop und Trance erstreckte. Doch schnell wurde im jugendlichem Alter klar, das der Sound von Electro, House und Techno ihn magisch anzieht. Inspiriert von Institutionen wie Alcatraz, Prison Club und Club Sonic fing er 2004 an, seine eigene Musik auf die Plattenteller zu legen. Der Fleiß war nicht umsonst, diverse lokale Partys sollten vorerst der Lohn dafür sein, bis Anfang 2006 der erste öffentliche Gig im Club Sonic in Plattling zustande kam. Ende 2007 folgte die erste Residency im Relax in Deggendorf, wo Tobi S. bis heute fast wöchentlich zu einer immer neuen musikalischen Abenteuerreise einlädt. Electro und House in allen Variationen. Die Stilrichtungen die Ihn seit Jahren prägen und die er besonders an seinen Electric Gigolos Events zusammen mit lokalen DJ Größen wie Mike S.
