Am 03.November 2007 Steel String - Reggae aus Straubing im Zeughaus in Passau Seit dem Frühjahr 2005 ist SteelString unterwegs um die Message of Jahlove zu verbreiten. Zahlreiche erfolgreiche Auftritte hat die viel versprechende Reggae-Band aus dem bayrischen Straubing schon hinter sich. Nach einigen Besetzungswechseln besteht SteelString derzeit aus 7 Musikern. Rootslastiger Gitarrensound, eine solide Riddim-Section und treibender Orgelsound bilden dabei das Fundament für die Stimme von Frontman Jahma. Ein individueller Syle, vermischt mit Latin und Dub Elementen, sowie eine bemerkenswerte Bühnenpräsenz bringen die nötige Vibration auf jede Tanzfläche. Ende 2006 wurde die Promotions Cd „OMED“ veröffentlicht, die einen Vorgeschmack auf das für 2007 geplante Album "...to the root" geben soll. Die Message ihrer Music is klar: “In this crucial time of tribulation, where many people are suffering all around the globe, we want to bring a message to the people that’s strictly dealing with love and unity. It doesn’t matter our religion, culture or color of skin, we have got to fight this madness together. Only with Jah’s help, InI say that this music has the power to unite the people. No matter if you call him Krishna, Alah or Jah...InI say One God, One Love, One Aim, One Destiny. So we want to give thanks and praise to the Most High, giving us the chance to fight down this illusion with music and being instrumental in spreading the message of Jahlove. |
